And so we’ll just talk about the elephant in the room and that is fear, right? Fear. Fear of the unknown. And our world, people who are alive right now, whether they’re just born or 105, have never experienced anything like we’re all experiencing right now. No one. But we’re all in this together and it’s okay. Together we can do anything. Together we can do anything. So, fear is rearing its ugly head. It’s a real emotion. It’s a real feeling. Most likely you are experiencing this at some level right now, especially fear of the unknown. We don’t have control over this and we don’t have control over a lot of things right now in our life. In reality, we never ever really did. We just thought we did. We thought that our Excel spreadsheets and keeping track of everything was a way to control. It’s a way to make us feel better, to put things in a box. And sometimes that does work and gives us that peace of mind, but most often, and especially right here and right now, it doesn’t matter, and because of that, we’re all being shaken. We’re being shaken to the core. We’re being shaken at the core with this fear. And I just wanted to talk about that today and really put it out there.
What I want to do is give you a new perspective on the fear and we’re going to do that. And if anybody has any questions … Hi, Cindy. James is there, wendy. Salt of the Earth is here. Hi, Salt of the Earth. I love my Salt of the Earth. And Cathy. Oh my gosh, Cathy. Hello. Hello. Holly. Oh, great to see everyone. If you have any questions, go ahead and type them in the comments and I’ll come back in and out of my notes and talk a little bit about those.
But what I want to talk about with fear is something a little bit different, and that is that not only is it a feeling, it’s an emotion, but it’s also an energy, and that might be a new concept for some of you. I want to talk about energy for a minute and then we’ll come back to the fear. So we’re all these energy bubbles walking around, right? We’re all about arms length. I don’t even fit in the video here. See, arms-length. We’re all these energy bubbles walking around and we bump into each other. Sometimes we repel each other if we’re not of the same energy, kind of like two magnets. Sometimes we’re … Dexter, our little doggy down here is making himself comfortable.
So sometimes when you walk into a room, what do we do? We feel the energy of the room. So us, the bubbles, different people, we resonate with each other. So we want to go to what? We want to go towards the familiar. That’s what we do when we walk into a room. We look around, we intuitively feel our spidey senses take off, and go towards that energy, that person or persons or group of people, that make us feel comfortable, right? That’s what we do. And then there’s the people who maybe don’t make us feel comfortable or we just maybe back up and get away from them. But there’s actually a third thing that happens, as well. And I think that’s also what’s really happening with this fear. And that third thing is when we get around other people and if you’re very sensitive like I am, and I think most of you on this call are, if you’re sensitive, you actually feel the other people’s emotions. You might get a quick hug from somebody, then all of a sudden, maybe not feel good or you may actually feel amazing. Why? Because you just took on that other person’s energy, that other person who gave you that hug’s energy.
Now, here’s what’s happening in the world right now. There’s a lot of fear. There’s a lot of collective fear. There’s a lot of other emotions going on too, but that is a main one, a prime one, that’s happening right now, is fear. And so as a very sensitive soul, which the majority of you, actually probably everyone on this call is and who will be listening to this, are very beautiful, sensitive souls. You feel other people’s everything. So you’re feeling not only your own afraid, you’re feeling the world’s. You’re feeling the world’s pain. You’re seeing how connected all we all are. And when you think about that, that is what we’re choosing to feel, so we feel it, and that’s the other thing I want you to think about with this fear is we’re choosing to feel it. We are choosing to accept it into our energy field. We’re choosing to hold fear in our bodies. We’re choosing to be afraid.
What we focus on expands. The more we think about it, the more it expands, the bigger it gets, right? What we resist persists. What we resist persists. So we resist it, if we resist this fear, it’s going to keep coming up against us. And so what would happen if we actually loved? If we love on something, if we love on this fear, right? Doesn’t that sound weird? And we’re going to do that in our meditation at the end. What would happen if we actually loved on this fear? What happens when you love something? When you love something what does it do? Relaxes. It releases all of it. How beautiful is that? And that’s what we want to do. We want to especially love on ourselves right now during this very uncertain, and challenging, and scary time for all of us. We want to love on ourselves.
And I want to encourage you, I want to invite you to take advantage of this time. I know that sounds crazy, right? Take advantage of this time. I want you to take advantage of this quiet time. It’s completely up to you. You can sit at home and watch more news. I don’t care what channel you watch, it’s going to be negative. I invite you to take this time. It’s sort of a timeout. We’ve all been given a timeout right now by God to go within. Don’t be afraid of your feelings. It’s a time to get quiet and really feel whatever it is that you’re feeling and let it come up, allow it to flow. Play with the kids. Experiment with more cooking. Do all these fun things that you have been putting off.
You don’t want to sit there and worry more. You don’t want to add more to the fear, more to the worry. We want to play with the kids. We want to cook more. We want to have fun. We want to go for long walks. We want to write that book that maybe you’ve always wanted to write. It’s about slowing down. Slowing down and feeling, allowing, surrendering to what is. There’s nothing that we can do to control what happens except to get quiet, deal with our own stuff, and pray, and know that that is going to affect the collective, which is what we want to do. And we want to affect it in a positive way. We don’t want to send more fear into it. Instead, we want to send love into it, and that’s what we’re going to do today collectively as a group, which I’m excited about.
Oh, great. Some more people have joined. Steven and Mark, and yay, Diana. We miss you Diana. I have grounded myself from Salt of the Earth. I am home right now and keeping myself healthy for now. But anyway, I miss everybody. And I’m very, very thankful to be locked in my condo with my youngest son, his wife, and their little poodle. So it’s all good. See Dexter behind me? See, there’s Dexter, the one dog I’m not allergic to. They’re hypoallergenic. And if you ever get lonely, you need a dog. I’ve always wanted one, but I was traveling too much. I’m not traveling now. I can tell you that right now. Anyway, I’m so glad to have everybody on.
So fear, back to fear. You get it. We’re energy, we’re these energy bubbles and we are soaking up each other’s energy. So now I’m asking you what energy is it that you are putting out? Are you putting out more worry, more fear, or are we going to change that and put more love out so that we can change the collective, change the fear? So that people will stop buying so much toilet paper, right? And that’s kind of important. And if anyone has extra, let me know. I only got enough for another week, because I didn’t make it to the grocery and fight the crowds. Just kidding.
But I want to talk about my three top tips for what to do before we go into meditation. My three top tips right now are number one, be still. Take this time. I beg you to take this time, take advantage of it, embrace it. Take quiet time. Slow down. We’ve been given this timeout. Amen, right? I’m so excited. We have a timeout. We have a timeout. Slow down.
Take this quiet time. Listen to that small voice within and find out what it’s saying to you. To everyone it’s probably saying something different, but you have to listen. Take that time. Sit quietly with your eyes closed and just listen to that still small voice inside of you. You might want to journal it. You can type it or you don’t have to do anything. You could just sit and listen. How awesome is that?
Now, here’s what happens though. When things get quiet, we start listening to all the mind chatter, right? And as you’re being still all this mind chatter and all these feelings start coming up. I actually have written down, humans have an average of, get this, 50 to 70,000 thoughts per day. That’s a lot. According to some researchers, as many as 98% are exactly the same thoughts as we had the day before.
Now here’s the scary part. Even more significant, 80% of those thoughts are negative and it’s very draining of our energy, those negative thoughts. So begin to pay attention to those thoughts. And that’s what happens when we get quiet is the thoughts, especially the negative ones, start coming up. And so we have to hear those. We begin to hear those and then we get afraid. And that’s why we run our TVs. That’s why we keep noise on all the time. But I am inviting you, I’m kind of challenging you, to slow down and start listening. Listen to that still small voice and let those negative thoughts come up and know that you get to change those. You are in control. And I didn’t know that for a long time. I should have, I didn’t. It took me awhile. But anyway, know that you are in control at choosing whether you get to listen to that or you can change the channel to that, but the key is to be aware. That’s the number one thing is to get quiet and be aware of what is actually coming up.
And my third tip is to practice mindfulness. And we’re not being rushed to do anything. And how, again, what a gift. What a gift this is. Practice mindfulness, and mindfulness is bringing in the five senses in everything you do. So whether you’re eating, talking to someone, whether you’re walking, bring in your five senses, all of them. And that is being mindful versus talking on the phone, and eating at the same time, and doing all of that.
Hi Amy. Hi Lisa. Oh my gosh. Lisa, how great to see you. We went to high school together. Oh, that’s so fun. We used to have a good time together in East Auburn. So practice mindfulness is super important. And if you guys missed the beginning of this FaceTime live, you’ll be able to watch it from the beginning. And I will, as well, be doing this for the next four … three or four, maybe more. I don’t know. We’ll just see kind of what happens. It depends how long I’m grounded. Depends how long I’ve grounded myself.
So anyway, be still, be aware of the mind chatter, number two, and number three, practice mindfulness, which is bringing in all five senses. No matter what you do, bring in those five senses. So while you’re doing that, while you’re being mindful, while you’re relaxing, while you’re enjoying this time with your families, or maybe you’re alone. I am generally alone, and this just happened eight days ago that my son and his wife and the dog moved in with me. I’m so thankful. Of course, didn’t know any of this was going to happen, but I’m so thankful that we’re all together. And I don’t know, we’re just all going with the flow like you all are. And we don’t know, but what we do know is that we have the tools for this, and we have each other, and that’s all that matters, right? And that’s all that matters.
So I want you to think about a couple of my favorite affirmations, especially for a time like this when we’re all very nervous and even a little shaky. And one of the things I want to say about affirmations is that I used to say them and didn’t get anywhere, say them all the time, and I would be so frustrated. And so what I realized was kind of like two people and repelling energies, that when you say an affirmation and it’s not really true in your life, your body is budding up against it and saying that’s not true. That’s not true, and it can’t be true for you. So again, it’s about energy, and vibration, and frequency.
So before I even say affirmations, now my prayer is that anything in my energy field that doesn’t align with the affirmations that I’m going to say has to go, and then my body is open to actually receiving them. And a couple of really important affirmations that … and I invite you to do that as well, and we’ll do some of that in meditation here in a few minutes. One of the things I really invite you to do is say these over and over, and I’ll post these when we’re done. And it’s, I have everything I want and more. I have everything I want and more. I have everything I need and more. I have everything I need and more, and I am everything I need and more. How about that? I am everything I need and more.
Oh, and Sally joined, and Roy Jean Meyer. Oh, my favorite! My favorite neighbors. And Roy and Jean used to babysit me and take care of me. You guys are awesome being on and I was so excited to see you last fall. So anyway, here in Florida.
So I have everything I need and more. I have everything I want and more. I am everything I need anymore. And let that sink into your body. Let that sink into your body. Because we do, we are provided for in this moment. Do you have food? Do you have clean water? We are so blessed. We have everything we need and more. We really do. So get quiet and feel those beautiful affirmations.
And so I want to talk about the meditation I’m going to do, because most of you on here have been in meditation with me and have experienced it, but a lot of you haven’t. And I want to explain a little bit about what we’re going to do and I don’t know how long we’ll go. We’ll just see where the wind blows us. I’m going to lead a guided meditation basically just to quiet us, help release some fears. And what you’re going to hear is something that maybe you’ve never heard before and it’s called light language. And I want to explain a little bit what it is.
So I started writing and meditating as a way to heal. And as I was doing that, I was always very involved in the church, but I never was filled enough and it never helped push me to … It never fixed my health. So what happened for me during meditation was basically I’m going to call … Let me see, I don’t know what I’m going to call it. I’m just going to tell it like it is, and it’s called downloads, it’s called channeling light language. I began to see beautiful angels. I began to get well, and when this light language would come through, I started to get better, over, and over, and over, and then I started helping other people with it. And that is what you’re going to be hearing in a few minutes with the light language.
I’ll do it anywhere from 30 seconds to two hours on myself, on other people. It’s not me, it is from the heavens to help to raise our vibration, to raise our frequency. It moves stuck energy. It moves stuck energy, which is what ill health is, which is what fear and what these emotions are. Allow it. So all I ask you to do today is to be open. I ask you to be open. And those of you who know me know that my heart is only for the highest and best for each and every one of you. And know that I love you so dearly and would never want anything to happen to anyone. But my prayer today for each and every person who ever hears this, is that they’re able to release any stuck energy, and especially fear, and allow love, and peace, and joy, and happiness to just overtake them, to be that grounding point for each and every one of you.
And I do want to add that with the light language, if you’re curious about it, it’s on my website. There are samples on my website, there’s downloads on my website, my whole story about it, and I write it and speak it. And as it started coming through, a lot of you won’t be surprised, but I actually spoke it and wrote it as a child. And I know personally a handful of people in the world who do this. There are more who do it, who don’t tell anyone, so I will say that. But there are very few people in the world who do this, and I want to offer this to you as my gift. And I ask you to just sit back, close your eyes and listen to it like you’re listening to beautiful music, and let it sink into your body, and take that fear away and the stress away for you.
Hi Jill. Hi Jill. Yes, thank you. You got to experience the light language and Carmina. Oh, welcome Carmina and Dancey, so excited to have all you beautiful people on. So anyway, if everyone wants to sit back and relax, and I am probably going to just close my eyes and see what comes out. And that’s pretty much the gist of it. So if everyone wants to sit back and relax, and also just follow along with this guided meditation. I’m so honored and blessed that you’re all here and so excited that you get to experience this.
So please sit back. I want everyone to, if you can, put one hand on your heart, one hand on your stomach area. It’s time to go within. And if you can feel … just feel your body right now. How do you feel? What does it feel like? What do you hear? What do you smell? Bringing in all your senses, what do you taste? What do you see? Allow your body to feel whatever, no judgment, just awareness right now, just awareness. And if you do anything over the next few days, over the next few months, take 30 seconds to check in just like this. Nothing more is ever required unless you want more. Just check in, get quiet like this. Bring in the five senses.
Allow your body to feel whatever it needs to feel to come up. And if you’re feeling fear right now, I want you to feel where it’s sitting in your body. Where is it sitting in your body? Is it your stomach area? Like in the pit of your stomach? Is it in your heart? Where is it sitting? Feel that. Feel that fear and we’re going to send it love right now. Love from the heavens. And again, just allow the light language to help multiply the love that you’re sending to it so it can dissipate and move through you. So whatever you’re open to, just allow it to move through. [foreign language 00:30:29].
Allow the soul language, this original language, sink into your body, releasing all fear, releasing all stuck emotions that you no longer need to hold. And at the same time, allow love and joy and peace and happiness to flood your beautiful bodies, and reset you to recalibrate you, to be grounded, and centered, and strong. [foreign language 00:31:49].
Feel that love, joy, peace, happiness, melt all that you no longer need to hold anymore. Let it all go. Continue to feel in your body whatever it is you’re feeling. No judgment, just awareness. Just notice and send yourself some love. And very, very slowly began to wiggle your toes, your hands, your fingers, move your neck around, come back awake, come back in your body, send me a note that you’re still here. I would love to know how that felt for you, how you experienced it. I feel like somebody felt a whoosh of release of energy, in or out. It doesn’t matter. There’s no judgment. Everyone experiences it different. Some people may not have felt anything and that’s okay, too. What we did today will unfold. What we did today will unfold and just allow it. Just allow it.
