Mount Shasta photo Lara Jaye Do you need a time out
Frequently, within the comfort of our familiar environment, achieving clarity can be a challenge. However, when the usual routines and constants in our lives are temporarily set aside, it becomes possible to view life from a broader perspective and engage more deeply in our personal healing journey. Furthermore, being away from our homes grants us respite from the constant worries of daily responsibilities, affording us a broader capacity to concentrate on self-care.

This past week, I joined a dear client and colleague in Mount Shasta for an incredible transformational journey within. We laughed, cried, released, and healed in the beauty of Mount Shasta. A Northern California natural vortex of amazing-ness awaits anyone who dares to say YES to the invitation to visit.

Shasta comes from a Russian word, shastain, which means PURE HAPPINESS! And, pure happiness is what we felt as we drove south, leaving the healing mountains. Our lives are forever changed because we dared give ourselves a ‘time-out’!

Whether you take a new route on your drive or an entire week retreat away from your familiar surroundings and responsibilities, recognize what a gift this is to yourself.
